You can help the
Rancho Family YMCA
"Make Magic Happen"
for Youth and Families!
What is Partner with Youth?
The Partner with Youth program is an annual fundraiser designed to directly assist youth and families in our service area. Through your support, families who otherwise would not have the chance to participate in YMCA programs are connected to a larger community of people who experience the importance of spirit, mind, and body.
Where does the money go?
The YMCA has partnered with the community for many years to meet the needs of individuals and families while incorporating values, inspiring self-confidence and encouraging healthy lifestyles and relationships.
While much of the cost of these endeavors is covered by membership dues and program fees, there exists a critical need for funds to provide financial assistance to others, start new programs, and subsidize others. The Partner with Youth campaign generates those added resources.
OVER THE TOP! Thank you to all the donors who helped us raise $196,000 this year!
These 2008 Partner with Youth donations will:
- Provide financial assistance to 175 families.
- Provide seed money to support three programs.
- Provide subsidy for affordable swim lessons, Adventure Guides and other programs.
The three programs are:
- Fit Kids and Families - Help us Activate America! In partnership with local elementary schools with limited resources, we will be offering more sports clinics, Playground Partners, enrichment activities, and recreational sports programs. Children will be introduced to a multitude of physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Inclusion - Our YMCA is recognized by "Kids Included Together" (KIT) as an organization committed to including children with disabilities in programs. In order to provide aides and support to accomodate all children, additional resources are needed.
- Active Older Adults - The YMCA is a leader in providing fitness and fun activities to the growing base of active older adults in our service area. Funds are needed to continue and expand these offerings such as Arthritis Exercise, Yoga Aerobics, trips, etc.
With support from the community we will be able to help build a strong foundation for tomorrow. Thank you for your generosity.
Heritage Club

The Rancho Family YMCA Heritage Club is comprised of individuals and families who support the mission of the YMCA through gifts to the endowment fund using any of the methods listed below:
- An outright gift to the YMCA Endowment fund of money, securities, property or other marketable assets.
- Creation of a charitable remainder trust, annuity trust, gift annuity, pooled income fund, short-term trust or life estate gift to benefit the YMCA.
- Naming the YMCA as the beneficiary of life insurance.
- Naming the YMCA to receive a bequest in one's will or living trust.
Gifts to the endowment fund are held in perpetuity, unless otherwise directed by the donor, with only the earnings used for specific programs or for general purposes. In supporting this effort, many Y friends will help assure a strong, viable YMCA for future generations.
