Swim Lesson Instructor

  • To assist aquatic Director with lesson plans, attendance, communicating with parents and implementation of lesson plans
  • Qualifications: WSI, Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  • Hours needed per week: Monday-Thursday afternoons,Saturday Mornings, 3-6 hours/week

Lifeguard

  • To assist Aquatic Director and lifeguard staff in keeping our facility safe and running smoothly. Willing to run slide on and off throughout the day, help guard both pools and help with any maintenance necessary.
  • Qualifications: WSI, Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
  • Hours needed per week: Monday –Sunday, 3-6 hours/week

Waterslide Operator

  • To assist aquatic staff with safe operation of the water slide on an hourly bases. Slide operator will inspect the slide prior to opening and safely monitor participants as the ride the slide.
  • Qualifications: First Aid & CPR certifications. Also, completion for both water slide operator and inspector tests.
  • Hours needed per week: Monday– Sunday during open swim
       
 
 

YMCA Aquatics

There is a reason the YMCA has been referred to as America’s Favorite Swim Instructor! In YMCA classes, not only are students taught in a caring way how to swim, but they also learn about safety and rescue skills, and about water activities which can be enjoyed for a lifetime. That’s way the YMCA has been teaching swimming for well over 100 years.
